Aaron was born to Christine and John, back in the spring of 1983. He has 3 sisters on his biological side. (Rosie, Hannah and Naomi – He only speaks to Rosie these days and is only in contact with his birth Mum) Aaron has Asperger’s Syndrome and was thrown out of normal school for being too thick. He went to Special Needs Boarding, where he really thrived.
Due to various reasons, Aaron grew up in Care. He has been in Foster Homes and has also done long stints in 2 Children’s Homes. Aaron calls himself the male equivalent to Tracy Beaker, as he pulled many a stunt while in the Children’s Home. (From shoe polish on the toilet seat to collapsing chairs and rubber spiders 🙂 )

However, Aaron was adopted by Mark and Rachel when he was 12 years old. Sadly Rachel died in 2014, owing to severe complications caused by Chron’s Disease. Due to his mum’s illness, Aaron went back into care and this is why he did long stints in Children’s Homes. He was eventually fostered by the Rideout Family, who he still keeps in touch with to this day. Unfortunately, his very kind and supportive Foster Parents, are now unfortunately no longer with us.
Aaron got the radio bug in the mid 90s, when he started Youth FM, a Radio Station based at his local Youth Club. Aaron went on to do Hospital Radio for many years, before launching his own station, which has been very successful – Shout Radio. It was thanks to the encouragement from his Foster Parents, Ursula and Paul, that Aaron got so heavily involved in radio.
Aaron lives in Blackpool with his cat Splodge. As well as doing all his radio stuff, he also works as a Facilities Manager, (Voluntary) for the British Heart Foundation.
Aaron has written a Children’s Book called the Computer that Knew Too Much. It is available now on Amazon and Aaron is currently writing the sequel.
